After my university study in dentistry with specialization in oral surgery and after several specialised courses in implantology I began practicing dentistry in the city of Munich in 2000.

My special areas of treatment are oral surgery and implant dentistry as well as aesthetic fixed prosthetics.

In 2002 I became attending doctor in the famous Arabella Clinic in Munich. As a consequence my treatment spectrum was expanded to complex surgeries and oral rehabilitations under total anaesthesia.

In 2007 I finished the Master of Science in laser dentistry at the RWTH University in Aachen, Germany. Since then the treatment modalities in the dental office were expanded to professionally designed treatments in laser dentistry.

I have published scientific and clinic reports and given lectures in the topics of implant dentistry and laser therapy in national and international journals and meetings. I actively participate as an editorial member of an implantology journal and belong to the scientific board of different implant systems. Additionally, as an opinion leader of several dental industries, I get brand new information on trends in the field of dental medicine.

The huge experience achieved during my academic career in the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen reflects my passion for dentistry in all its fields: the treatment of patients, the scientific, and the academic works.

Three important milestones in my career were:

- A grant from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for continuing education in the field of periodontology in Germany in 1996

- The title of “Specialist in Periodontology” by the German Academy of Periodontology (DGP) in 2005

- In 2008 I was appointed Assistant Medical Director of the Department of Periodontology

- The title “Habilitation” (German PhD) in the field of dentistry and maxillofacial surgery at the Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU) in 2009

Subsequently, I obtained the status as Lecturer and Assistant Professor at the Department of Periodontology, Dental School in Giessen, Germany.

My special areas of treatment are Periodontology and Implantology. I am a specialist in the treatment of periodontitis, aesthetic periodontal surgery as well as in the treatment of difficult and aggressive cases of gum diseases. With the help of aesthetic periodontal treatments (plastic surgery of the gums) it is possible to enhance the contour of the gums, to correct deficiencies in the shape of the gums and to cover denudated tooth roots. With special techniques it is also possible to replace lost tissue around and between the teeth. You will keep your natural teeth!

I have published a large number of scientific and clinical studies in national and international journals and gave lectures in numerous national and international meetings.
